MEMBERSHIP OF THE CLUB MAY BE GRANTED IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:

FULL He/she is entitled to use the courts at any time, including organised Saturday social tennis, except when the courts are pre-booked. All full members are required to belong to the Tennis SA, Midlands Tennis Association and eThekwini Associations and will pay the social affiliation fee. Prior to being accepted as a full member, the player is to be assessed by the committee on an informal basis to determine playing standard.

LEAGUE Players who want to play league can affiliate through HTC to Tennis SA, Midlands Tennis Association, and eThekwini Leagues at the full league affiliation fee.

STUDENT Applicants must be full-time students at an institution other than a school. To play social tennis on Saturday, the same criteria apply to full members concerning the standard of play.

ASSOCIATE Is entitled to use the courts at all times except Saturday afternoon social tennis, or when pre-booked. Associate members are issued with a court key.

JUNIOR FULL Under 18 years. A promising player may be invited to play as a full member.

All subs for 2026/7 are to be paid in full by 31 July 2026. A fee will be charged for late payment. New members should pay subs within 7 days from the date of invoice. The financial year ends on 31 March. As of September, new applicants are charged fees pro-rata, per remaining months of the financial year. Members are reminded that should they wish to resign, they should do so before March 31. Otherwise, they will be liable for the subscription fees for the following financial year.
